Dr. Elmajie’s academic journey began at the Dental School of Garyounis University in Libya, where he completed his undergraduate studies. He then pursued advanced education at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, earning a Certificate in Advanced Education in Public Health Dentistry (DPH) and a Master of Science in Dental Public Health (MSD) in 2014. Certified as a public health specialist by the American Board of Dental Public Health (ABDPH) in 2015, he further honed his skills through postgraduate training in General Dentistry at Boston University, obtaining a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in General Dentistry (AEGD) in 2016.
Embarking on his professional journey as a general dentist at the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center in Massachusetts, Dr. Elmajie accumulated extensive experience serving underserved communities in New England. Following a heartfelt decision to relocate to the vibrant state of Texas with his wife, he has been an integral part of Crossroads Family Care for four wonderful years. Recently, Dr. Elmajie joined a private practice in Tyler, Texas, with plans to return to Crossroads on a part-time basis starting in January 2024.
Actively engaged in various professional organizations, including the American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Texas Academy of General Dentistry (Texas AGD), American Association of Public Health (AAPH), and American Association of Public Health Dentistry (AAPD), Dr. Elmajie is committed to both his professional and personal pursuits. Beyond dentistry, he finds joy in traveling, maintaining an active lifestyle through exercise and tennis, and treasuring special moments with his family.
