On July 6, 2015, Mt. Enterprise Community Health Clinic and the Rusk County Community Health Center will celebrate its new name as Crossroads Family Care. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 10:00am at the Henderson location at 1115 US Hwy 259 South. An Open House will follow with free snow cones, popcorn, and hot dogs. The Mt. Enterprise location will celebrate with an open house at 3:00pm at 106 W. Rusk St. with a Ribbon Cutting at 3:30pm that same day. Since 2008, the clinic has offered quality, affordable health care in Rusk County and the surrounding communities. The organization felt that the new identity would bring the two locations together under one cohesive name and look.

“We are excited about the future at Crossroads and we believe this change is a positive reflection of our enthusiasm and continued dedication to the children and families we serve,” said Ken White, chief executive officer at Crossroads Family Care.

Along with the updated name comes a new brand. Two roads cross over to reflect the location of the two clinics, both are in towns with main intersections. There is also a sunrise set behind a family along with five warm colors to reflect the warm and welcoming spirit that the staff at Crossroads reflects.

“We see this new brand as a symbol of a new era in health care for our community” said White.

Crossroads has experienced solid growth over the last seven years, with a 51% increase in overall patient encounters. In 2014, Crossroads experienced over 6,200 patient visits for services including wellness and preventive care, dental exams and procedures, and counseling.

“Crossroads serves Henderson, Mt. Enterprise and surrounding communities. In fact, over 60% of our patients come from Henderson or Mt. Enterprise zip codes. We invite the community to come see what their neighbors are experiencing at Crossroads,” explained White. “We also provide dental services to children as well as adults.”

Crossroads anticipates the future will bring continued growth with the expansion of its dental clinic which is currently in the planning phase, allowing the clinic to see more patients in both medical and dental, as well as the potential for adding more providers to serve the community.

Signs at all Crossroads locations have changed to show the new name and logo.
