Amparo Mahler, Chief Executive Officer

Amparo has 29 years of experience working with Federally Qualified Health Centers. She has extensive experience and education via health care executive administration and leadership programs, including the UCLA School of Management and the UCSF Center for Health Professions. As a result of her dedication, experience, and education, she became the Chief Operating Officer for a large FQHC in Southern California. Under her leadership, the company grew from a $4 million to an $80 million annual enterprise. In addition to her role as COO, Amparo has also provided healthcare consulting services to firms in Southern California.

Her passion is to ensure access to quality, compassionate, whole-person healthcare for all regardless of ability to pay in order to help improve the health of the local communities.

As someone who maintains a constant awareness of trends and services, Amparo focuses on the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to better meet the needs of the community, keeping Community Health Centers ahead of the curve. She is well respected for her commitment to excellence and maximizing profitability and performance. In 2009 she was honored with the Health Care Champions award from the San Diego Business Journal. She is certified in Human Resource Management through California State University San Marcos and was an invited participant in the North County Leadership Program, also hosted by California State University San Marcos. She has also obtained Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt certification from San Diego State University.

In her spare time, Amparo enjoys exploring and traveling the world with friends and family.

Dr. William Roberson, D.O., Chief Medical Officer

William Boyd Roberson, Jr., DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician who practices at Crossroads Family Care in Henderson Texas.

Dr. Roberson has a special appreciation for rural healthcare which is why he decided to work for Crossroads Family Care a Federally Qualify Health Center as the new Chief Medical Officer. “I like practicing in a small town, but a facility where patients can get care for more complicated matters that they might have during their lives.”

Committed to building lasting relationships with patients, Dr. Roberson takes an individualized approach to each patient’s healthcare needs. “I understand that patients usually know more about what’s going on with themselves than doctors do, so getting to know them well is important to promoting good health.”

Chris Cammack, Director of Information Technology

Chris Cammack is formerly a Senior Level Network Administrator at the Longview Police Department. A proud graduate of TSTC Marshall, where he was inspired to pursue a career in Computer System’s Administration and Networking after the birth of his three children. Prior to working at Longview Police Department, he was the IT Director at Gary ISD where he was responsible for the implementation of a new district wide network including new servers, and all related networking hardware and software systems. In his free time, he can be found with his wife Phyllis in their garden, or at one of several local lakes or the Gulf fishing with his new Grandson, Charlie.

Dr. Jonathan Ury, DDS, Dental Director

Dr. Jonathan Ury grew up in west Texas where he graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 2013 with a major in Biology and minor in Biochemistry. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2018. He then pursued an Advanced Education in General Dentistry where he learned many complex dental procedures. Dr. Ury has been working in public health since 2019 and loves treating those who need it most. Dr. Ury sees patients of all ages starting at 6 months of age and loves working with children. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling, reading, exercise, spending time with friends and family, and is a foodie at heart. He uses all his experience he has gained and applies it to give his patients the best care possible.

Rolando Reyes, Director of Healthcare Programs & Community Education/Outreach

Rolando Reyes, Director of Healthcare Programs, will develop, implement, and oversee grant programs and community education/outreach efforts. Rolando has been in healthcare for over a decade; 7 years of which are in not-for-profit Federally Qualified Health Centers and five years in the private health sector. Skilled in project management, State and Federal Grant programs, researching, planning, developing, and implementing the organization’s strategic objectives through lean six sigma methodologies. Rolando graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler, and currently lives in Flint, TX with his wife and three boys. He loves working in not-for-profit organizations, specifically in underserved rural areas and has dedicated himself to bridge the gap between those in need and promoting community-wide continuum of care.
